Meet the Team


  • Allen Sanginés-KrauseAllen has over 25 years of investment banking experience across the world, most of it at Goldman Sachs (GS). At GS, he directed Mexico's office, COO for all of Latinamerica, Head of Emerging Markets for the Investment Banking Division, Head of Russia, Head of Europe's Industrials Group, and Head of the Spanish office. Allen finished his career at GS as one of the seven members of the Firmwide Commitments Committee responsible for authorizing all equity underwritings carried out by the firm and monitor commercial and reputational risks. Allen is Chairman of the Board of Millicom International Cellular S.A. (a telecom company with a focus on emerging markets), Member of the Board of AB Investment Kinnevik (listed company in Sweden), and Chairman of the Board of RLD (the first fund established by BK Partners, focused on real estate and land development in Mexico). He is also Chairman of the Council of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University, Member of the Campaign Board of the Historic Royal Palaces in the United Kingdom, and Member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs. Allen graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. He also obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University where he was a Fulbright Scholar. Allen holds dual citizenships from Mexico and the U.K. He speaks English and Spanish fluently and is conversational in German, French, Italian, and Russian.
  • Jerónimo BremerJerónimo has more than 10 years of investing experience, mainly gained at Goldman Sachs (GS) where he was a Vice President in the firm’s Principal Strategies Group, an internal group with capital of USD$15 billion of the bank’s own funds. While at GS, Jerónimo was directly responsible for investments worth USD$300M invested in Europe, mainly in the German, French, and Spanish markets. This portfolio was mainly focused on the Energy/Utilities, Chemicals, Automotive, Airlines, Banks, and Retail sectors and invested across the capital structure. The annual performance of Jerónimo’s portfolio stood at around 19%, one of the top returns of the team. Jerónimo has also been highly involved in RLD (the first fund established by BK Partners) where he was responsible for the research and investment process, fund raising and investor relations. Jerónimo is a graduate in Business Administration from both the University of Cologne in Germany and ICADE Universidad Pontificia Comillas in Spain. He holds dual German and Mexican nationalities and speaks English, Spanish, German fluently as well as some French and Russian.

  • Alberto Comenge BarreirosMajor in Law and Business Administration from CEU University in Madrid, Alberto Comenge started his professional career as a research analist in Morgan Stanley Spain, covering mid and small caps. He then went on to help create a new line of Business at spanish media groupo Prisa, called prisacom while doing a PDD program at IESE Business School. After doing a MALD at the Fletcher School, he partnered with the Salomon Smith Barney M&A team which had just launched their own M&A advisory firm, Optima Corporate, intervening in many operations within the spanish market. At this point he also started managing Dorma family office and becoming an investor himself Alberto Comenge was one of the initial investors at Rasa Land and has been in the board since the creation. He is also a board member of Costa Tortuga Emprendimentos turisticos in Brazil, board member at 5 Jotas Grupo Osborne, inernet accelerator Top Seeds Lab, Bodegas Comenge, founding partner of e-smartprojects and Secretary of the Board of Fundacion Barreiros
  • Raúl Obregón del CorralRaúl Obregón del Corral
    Founding Partner of Proxy Gobernanza Corporativa, S.C. (2007), Founding Partner and Director of Alianzas, Estrategia y Gobierno Corporativo (2004); Corporate Director of Grupo Bal (1990-2004), currently Proprietor Advisor of Grupo Palacio de Hierro, and substitute member in Industrias Peñoles y Grupo Nacional Provincial, he was member of the audit and corporate practiceds committee of the three businesses, Proprietor Advisor of Grupo Bimbo and member of the planning and finances committees, and President of the valuation and results committee, Proprietor Advisor of Altamira Unión de Crédito, of Invermat, and of Envases y Laminados, where he participates in the audit and corporate practices, and independent advisor of the sub-committee of valuation and financing of the Fondo Nacional de Infraestructura (National Infrastructure Fund).
    He has been advisor of Valores Industriales (Industrial Values), Corporación Industrial Proa, Grupo Financiero Atlas, Grupo Profuturo, of the Mexican Stock Exchange.
    He was CEO and Representative of the Grupo Midland Bank in Mexico, which included Samuel Montagu, investment banking, Midland International Trade Services and Thomas Cook; Director of Financial and International Affairs in Nacional Financiera, being responsible of the relationships with the commertial and investment banking, with multilateral bilateral bodies; World Bank and BID, the Treasury and foreight debt of the institution; International Director of Multibanco Comermex (currently Scotia Bank); Treasurer of Citibank Mexico, whete we funged as Corporate Banking Director and member of the Active-Passible, Credit, Human Resources and Planning committees; technical-commertial promoter of high-powered electrical equipment and technician at the UNAM's Engineer Instutute. He studiend at the Stanford University; he also has a Master in Planing and Economic Engineering Ciences and he is an Electric Mechanical Engineer from UNAM's Engineer Faculty.
